2020 R4

The 2020 R4 release includes an upgrade to the Users configuration module to allow for the creation of custom roles. Custom roles can now be used to determine which users are given access to view certain properties on Golden Records.

This release also includes a major security upgrade with the implementation of Identity Server, which will allow for seamless integration between the Naveego Platform and various MFA applications. as well as improve compatibility with organization’s SSO requirements.

MDM

Features

  1. Custom Role Configuration and Property Assignment - Administrators can now create custom roles, and assign users and properties to roles in order to determine which users are given access to view certain properties on Golden Records.

  2. Users can now enable ‘Auto Profiling’ at the input level during Input Configuration. Each time an On-Demand or Scheduled job is triggered, the data will be automatically re-profiled and the profiling UI will be updated with the most recent profiling results.

Enhancements

  • All objects now have reasonable limits on Name/Description lengths to avoid UI issues caused by excessive Names/Descriptions.
  • Updated color scheme for error samples to make them easier to read.

Fixes and Improvements

  • Improved error messaging for connections failing due to authentication errors.

Plugins

  • File Reader Plugin - This plugin now supports ingesting data from *.xlsx files.

  1. MFA - Users can now setup Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Enhancements

  1. Users can now opt to login to the Naveego Platform directly or via their organization’s SSO configuration.

UI

Fixes and Improvements

  • Resolved issue that would make some portions of extremely large custom query schemas un-editable.
  • Resolved issue where some Connection level warnings would overlap on the Domain Overview screen.

  • Package Import/Export capability has been updated and re-introduced to the DQ module.
  • The DQ Sync Client will now attempt to automatically renew its authorization token on a 30 minute interval beginning when the current token’s lifetime is 1/3 complete. (Note: You must be on Sync Client version 3.7 or higher and configure a valid authUrl for this feature to take effect).
